Toy Unit (Science)
In Science we are learning about materials, fasteners, position, forces, motion, and simple machines. We will once again require a variety of recyclable materials to build our ‘toys’ out of. If you are able please send a variety of items that we could use for our project. Please and thank you!

Evening of the Arts
Please plan to arrive at 5:30. Please let Mr. B or myself know if you are unable to attend. Concert starts at 6:00 on the soccer field. Bring lawn chairs and a blanket.

Reading Record – May – Back by popular demand – READO
The students have said this was their favourite reading incentive so we will try it again, only a with a different READO card. Students reading chapter books can do these activities in addition to their chapter book reading, or instead of it. I have books in the classroom by many of the authors listed, but they can also be found on your trip to the library! Enjoy!

Warm Weather Attire
Just a reminder that students need to have indoor shoes that are appropriate for in the gymnasium. They also require proper footwear for running and climbing outdoors during Phys. Ed. and recess.
Please ensure that your child has a water bottle at school during warm weather. You may wish to consider applying sunscreen in the morning, and sending a hat or sunglasses.

Spelling – Week #30 – Test Friday
Reading Record – May – Back by popular demand – READO
The students have said this was their favourite reading incentive so we will try it again, only a with a different READO card. Students reading chapter books can do these activities in addition to their chapter book reading, or instead of it. RSVP – the term was invented by our very own Samantha. It is a reminder to do Reading, Spelling, and Violin Practice.
Warm Weather Attire
