Spelling

This week students will work on reviewing words from past weeks.

Nut Free Policy

Please remember that our school has a No-Nut Policy in effect at all times.  This policy includes all types of nuts.  It is really important that you read all labels and ingredient lists on items coming into the school.  This policy helps to ensure the safety of all children, staff, parents and volunteers in our building.  Thank you!

Inuit

We have learned so much about the Inuit!  We have built teepees, made igloos, watched videos, designed sealskin boots, learned some Inuit words and much more! Our unit is coming to a close so we are planning to finish it with a trip to the Manitoba Museum to see the Inuit artifacts on display.  Our trip will be on March 22 in the morning.  We will need 2-3 adults to drive and supervise.  Permissions forms will be sent home soon.

Story Writing

All students have worked hard to write a storybook this term.  We are just in the publishing stages of this process.  Students are looking forward to sharing their books with you during the upcoming conferences!
