I Love to Read Month is coming to a close this week. It sure has been an exciting month full of many different learning opportunities and new experiences. I do hope your child has been sharing some of their memories with you at home. Thank you for being supportive of all the activities this month as well!
This past week CLWR came to collect the We Care Kits that our class put together during the month of January. Again, huge thanks to everyone who helped out with this project.
For Valentine's we did a devotion series on God's love. Here are some of the thoughts that our devotions were focused on.
A couple more pictures from 100 Day. Using groups of 10 to represent 100.
Some of the pictures from the Boat building project last week were missed. Here are the rest:
This past week we worked on more story telling strategies. Here is our class vine that we created. The students all made their own vines as well. It was a great way for them to identify the most important events in a story (beginning, middle, end) and put them into the correct sequence.
This week in the Technology Lab we created our own Tagxedos. Students explored the many options available to using words and graphics to create a poster, card, or sign. All of the websites that we use during Technology classes can be found in the side bar of this blog. Please feel free to explore them further at home. Some of them have excellent activities for extra practice at home.

We had quite a few Tagxedos made for us at home! As always, thanks for sharing.
I should have sent home ink cartridge coupons first. Glad to hear the kids are enjoying them!
